The genre of Nawabi spirituality(Book Review)
by Labani Hossain
A Mind's Reproduction; by Sir Washif Ali Meerza , Nawab Bahadur of Murshidabad, AMIR-UL-OMRA, Raes-Uddaula, Sujaul-Mulk; that opens with the forewords of Ramananda Chatterjee is a complete spiritual guide itself.
This book contains 104 pages divided in 417 persuasive paragraphs. A Mind's Reproduction is an outcome of Nawab Bahadur's retrospection. Throughout the book one can perceive the amalgamation of both retrospection and introspection. Being an avid reader I have found this book the utmost guide for gaining spiritual knowledge. It's not a child's play to understand the reality and misery of life being affluent and opulent, but Nawab Bahadur did it. He was brilliant enough to foresee that we have to make ourselves ready during our existence in this mundane sphere. Though he have experienced various negative and positive sides of life, he was a staunch believer of the Almighty.
NAWAB WASIF ALI MEERZA
He have penned down his self-realization through some of the persuasive paragraphs. Such as-
1. To tamper with life is to gamble for nothing.
2. Intelligence is the most powerful force of creation.
The nature of human is to be down on somebody, which Nawab has pointed out rightly. He has pointed towards the betterment of one's conscience-
To expose another's weakness
Is to drill a hole in your conscience

NAWAB WASIF ALI MEERZA
Each and every single paragraph of his Highness bore a intense sense. One couldn't but help to finish the book in a go. Each page is such tempting to read and also helps to fill the spiritual yearning. The lines are beautifully enframed from the practical intellections of an intellectual person which can be apprehended by every person and could be related with oneself.
